• The story of Jacob Waltz was well researched and accurate as far as the legends and Story line goes. Jacob Waltz "The Dutchman" did exist but the source of his gold has never been fully determined. The book recalled many legends and stories accurately and in a well presented manner. The facts regarding the "Lost Dutchman Mine" remain as the biggest legend and mystery of the American West.
• The book is loaded with Arizona and Southwest history. The author was obviously deeply involved in the mystery of the Lost Dutchman. The only disappointment I can recall was that the notes, although some very interesting, were as long as the text.
• Interesting, informative, and full of common sense elaborations. The author is believable and seems to not
  Sensationalise the legends. Good reading.
• Loved this story! Written over many years and true to life adventure. Treasure can be found in life it self!
